Insignia Key is a key item that appears in Resident Evil 4. It is used to open doors with insignia at various locations. It can be sell after unlocking every doors with it. The key is in a desk drawer in the bedroom on the second floor of the Village Chief's Manor. The acquisition of the key triggers a cutscene in which Leon encounters Bitores Méndez and Ada Wong and concludes chapter 2.
