Blitz rating to rapid - Chess Forums

Hello, I recently read a forum stating that if my blitz rating is higher than my rapid, then my Rapid rating will be set to my blitz. I am a 1400 Blitz and don't really play rapid. my rapid is around 1000, whereas it should be around 1500. When will my Rapid rating get a boost and be set to my Blitz?
